Busy Summer Brings Solid Results For Fans
It’s the middle of the summer and our next big event … the TUMS Fast Relief 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup weekend…is still three months away. But that doesn’t mean we haven’t been busy here at Martinsville Speedway.
We’ve been working like gangbusters, mostly on projects that we think will make your next visit to Martinsville Speedway your best ever.
Here are some of the things that have been going on here at Martinsville:
We’ve restructured our prices to make Martinsville’s exciting style of racing even more affordable.
Here is a glance at our new prices:
- Tickets prices start at $25, down from $42
- All seats in Bill France Tower now just $40
- Seats in the Clay Earles Tower are now $55, down from $72
- Seats in the Sprint Tower are now $65, down from $77
We’ve secured two of the most popular and recognizable Cup drivers for Half-Mile Club appearances prior to the TUMS Fast Relief 500. Kasey Kahne and Kevin Harvick will answer fan questions during an appearance in the Half-Mile Club just a couple of hours before they go racing on the historic Martinsville Speedway oval.
The Half-Mile Club, formerly the fan zone, will be held in Martinsville Speedway’s hospitality area. All driver appearances will be for emceed question and answer sessions. There will not be any autograph sessions.
Admission to the Half-Mile Club is $99 and includes coffee, juice and doughnuts, lunch buffet, Pepsi products, four beer coupons per adult, Pre-Race Track Pass and a Martinsville Speedway souvenir.
We’ve announced that the Pre-Race Track Pass will be back for the TUMS Fast Relief 500. For just $10, fans will be able to walk along the front stretch of historic Martinsville Speedway from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on race day.
Tickets are on sale for the TUMS Fast Relief 500 and the Kroger 200 and may be purchased by calling 877.722.3849 (877.RACE.TIX) or by visiting www.martinsvillespeedway.com online. Ticket prices range from $25 to $77.
Just last week it was announced that Martinsville Speedway had joined forces with Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance for the Farm Bureau Insurance Pole Day on October 23.
Farm Bureau will also be sponsoring rookie Cup driver Joey Logano that weekend in the TUMS Fast Relief 500.
Earlier this summer, after several months of work, we unveiled the all new www.martinsvillespeedway.com. If you have not visited the new site, please stop by. We’re really proud of it and hope it will help you enjoy the Martinsville Speedway experience even more.
