Harvick In Fan Zone Prior To TUMS Fast Relief 500

NASCAR Sprint Cup points leader Kevin Harvick is in the Chase for the Sprint Cup and he’ll be in the Martinsville Speedway Fan Zone prior to the TUMS Fast Relief 500 on October 24.

Harvick, who calls Martinsville Speedway his “home track,” because he lives just 30 minutes away, has led the Sprint Cup points since early in the season. He won his third race of the season Sunday at Michigan International and in the process became the first driver to clinch a spot in this year’s Chase.

He will be joined in the Martinsville Speedway Fan Zone by AMP Energy driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. a couple of hours before the start of the TUMS Fast Relief 500, the sixth stop in the Chase for the Sprint Cup.

“This is shaping up to be the best lineup we’ve ever had in our Fan Zone,” said Martinsville Speedway President W. Clay Campbell. “With Kevin we have the points leader and with Dale Jr. we’ve got the sport’s most popular driver. The fans are in for a great question and answer session, that’s for sure.”

The driver appearances in the Martinsville Speedway Fan Zone sponsored by AMP Energy will be emceed question and answer sessions. There will not be any autograph sessions.

Admission to the Martinsville Speedway Fan Zone sponsored by AMP Energy is $99 and includes pastries, juice and coffee for breakfast, lunch buffet, and includes four coupons for AMP Energy, Pepsi products and beer (patrons 21 and older) and Pre-Race Track Pass.

The Pre-Race Track Pass allows fans to stroll on the track along the front stretch from 9:00 a.m. to noon.

The $99 price does not include a ticket to the Goody’s Fast Pain Relief 500.

The Martinsville Speedway Fan Zone will open at 8 a.m. on October 24.

The pastries will be served at 8 a.m. with the lunch buffet beginning at 10:30 am.
