With the STP 500  at Martinsville Speedway just a week-and-a-half away, there is no better time to purchase tickets, as prices increase on Saturday. The race marks the first short track race of the year, and the first race back on the east coast after the “west coast swing.”

This year the track will be honoring its rich history, as it celebrates its 70th anniversary.

“We’ve got a lot in store for our 70th anniversary and really want everyone to be a part of it,” Martinsville Speedway President Clay Campbell said. “There are going to be things going on all weekend, for fans of all ages, and I feel like the only thing better than the celebration is what’s going to happen on the track.”

For families, the track is once again offering the Family 4 Pack. Starting at just $119, the package includes two adult and two youth 12-and-under tickets in the Clay Earles Tower rows 6-14. Families can also add four Famous Martinsville Speedway Hot Dogs and Four Pepsi products for just $20.

For Saturday’s Alpha Energy Solutions 250, children 12-and-under are admitted free.

For fans looking to enhance their race day experience, the Green Flag Experience returns on Sunday morning. Fans will hear from Dale Earnhardt Jr., Denny Hamlin, Rickey Stenhouse Jr., Ty Dillon  and more in the Plaza on the top of the hill outside turn four. They can then walk on the frontstretch, sign the start/finish line and watch driver introductions from the track. The Green Flag Experience is $60 for adults and $20 for youth 12-and-under.

Racing returns to Martinsville Speedway March 31-April 2.

This year the historic track celebrates its 70th anniversary.

The weekend starts on Friday with Virginia Lottery Pole Day and continues on Saturday with the Alpha Energy Solutions 250 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Race.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series will be in action on Sunday with the running of the STP 500.

Ticket prices start at $45 and tickets in the Bill France Tower are $50.

The race is the first short-track race of the season and marks the series’ return to the east coast after the “West Coast Swing.”
