ITEMS ALLOWED THROUGH MARTINSVILLE SPEEDWAY'S ADMISSION GATES:

One soft-sided bag or cooler, no larger than 14x14x14 inches:  Coolers of this size typically have a removable plastic liner and are branded to hold 24-36 cans of soft drinks or other beverages. To ensure these items fit underneath grandstand seats and do not block walkways, coolers with telescoping handles and wheels will not be permitted.  A soft-sided insulated cooler may contain ice.

One lightweight backpack:  Bag can be similar to a day-pack carried by school students, 17 inches in length.  This one bag may be carried in any manner, i.e. by handle, with shoulder straps, on a belt, etc. 

Fans can bring in one cooler and one backpack.

Binoculars, scanners, headsets, cameras, not in a bag, worn separately over the neck or on the belt and seat cushions carried separately are also allowed. 

All items brought through the grandstand gate will be inspected.

 

The following MAY NOT enter the admission gates:

Firearms, fireworks, and items restricted by Local, State and Federal laws.

Hard-sided coolers.

Glass.

Umbrellas.

Pets.

Any bags, backpacks, or containers larger than the allowed size.

Drones.

Items restricted by track policy.

None of the above restricted items may be left in or around the gate area.

To expedite entrance into the facility, guests are encouraged to arrive at the gates as early as possible.

 

CODE OF CONDUCT 

Martinsville Speedway is committed to creating a safe, comfortable and memorable experience for all guests.  We want all guests to enjoy the experience in a responsible fashion.  While at Martinsville Speedway please show respect to all guests, Speedway employees and their property.

Please refrain from:

  • Sitting in a reserved seat without the appropriate ticket
  • Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, threatening or illegal 
  • Intoxication or other signs of alcohol impairment that results in irresponsible behavior
  • Foul, abusive or obscene language, gestures, acts, signs or clothing
  • Possession inside grandstand of items not allowed for gate entry 
  • Intoxication to the point of impairment or resulting in irresponsible behavior risking yourself or other guests
  • Throwing of any object within the grandstand or onto the racing surface 
  • Failing to follow the instructions of Martinsville Speedway personnel
  • Fighting, taunting, harassing, or threatening other guests 
  • displaying signage or flags that impedes sightlines, the even broadcast or on-track competition or contains inappropriate, controversial, prejudicial, obscene or offensive symbols, slogans, language, or imagery 
  • Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), also known as drones, may not be operated within the campground or on track property without prior written permission.  A UAV for purposes of this policy is any aircraft without a human pilot aboard.  Penalties for violation may include civil fines as determined by FAA and law enforcement, forfeiture or aircraft, and removal from property

Comply with all local, state and federal laws while on Speedway property.

All persons entering the Speedway are subject to reasonable search to protect the safety of the public and to ensure compliance with this Code of Conduct. 

Items intended for sale or trade may not be brought onto Speedway property, including the parking lots and campground without a written agreement with the Speedway.

The unauthorized resale of tickets in, on , or around the Speedway property is not permitted under any circumstances.  Persons caught selling tickets in violation may have their tickets and their right to future tickets to the Speedway revoked.  To avoid using counterfeit or stolen tickets, please purchase tickets through authorized Speedway ticket outlets only. 

 Guests are responsible for their conduct as well as the conduct of their guests while at Martinsville Speedway.  Speedway staff will promptly intervene to support an environment where guests and others can enjoy the event free from above behavior.  Guests who violate these provisions may be subject to ejection without refund, possible loss of ticket privileges for future events and/or arrest.

ATMs

ATM's are located throughout the facility.  Please see facility map for locations. 

​Bus Parking 

​Bus Parking is located above the Hospitality Village near lot 13.  Once near Speedway Property, law enforcement officers will direct buses to the proper parking area.  Buses are not required to have special parking passes. 

​Concession Stands 

​Concession stands, offering hot foods including The Famous Martinsville Speedway Hot Dog™, cold Pepsi products and snacks will be open Friday, March 23 through Sunday, March 25 for the STP 500 Weekend and Friday, October 26 through Sunday, October 28 for the First Data 500 race weekend.  Stands remain open until track activity concludes for the day. 

Emergency Assistance 

In case of emergency during race weekend, contact a Speedway representative by calling (276)956-7237.  Or, if you observe illegal or otherwise inappropriate activity, please contact a Speedway representative. 

Only in emergency situations will the Speedway attempt to page guests.  All paging is coordinated through Speedway Security.  (Note: Non-emergency pages cannot be accommodated and paging is not done during an event.)  The ticket office is open on race day for any issues.  Come to the ticket office or call us at (276) 956-7200. 

Fan Care 

Fully staffed and supported by Memorial Hospital of Martinsville-Henry County, the Memorial Hospital Fan Care is located in the display lot adjacent to the Turn 4 gate.  Fan Care is provided for minor ailments that you encounter while on property.  Always remember to call 911 in the case of an emergency.

 Fan Text Messaging

To assist you during your visit with us at Martinsville Speedway, we have established a Fan Assistance Texting service that will bring your text message right into our emergency command center for review and response assignment.  We look forward to your use of this great fan assistance tool and our being able to more quickly respond to your needs during the event. 

Examples of issue or need could include:  medical emergency, unruly fans around you, a broken seat, someone is in the wrong seat, or there is a spill on the stairs.

​First Aid

​First aid stations or Ambulances are located under the frontstretch grandstand and behind the Clay Earles Tower.  If first aid is needed, please stop a team member patrolling the grandstands or notify a law enforcement officer if assistance is needed. 

Golf Carts 

Golf carts or other approved vehicles used on the Martinsville Speedway property are permitted for business purposes only.  No Personal use is allowed for any reason.  Physically impaired, disabled or handicapped persons are permitted to use commercially manufactured, single-person electric convenience vehicles (ECVs).

Lost And Found 

For lost items, contact the Speedway Security Office (next to the Main Ticket Office) or the Main Ticket Office.  If a guest has lost a member of his/her party, they may contact a team member or law enforcement officer and efforts will be made 

Party Separation 

If a guest has lost a member of his/her party, they may contact a Speedway employee and efforts will be made to rejoin them.

Tuesday - Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

​Disabled Assistance Carts

​Martinsville Speedway has a fleet of disabilities assistance carts to help our guests who require assistance with transportation within the immediate speedway property.  The fleet of specially designated carts will assist a disabled guest and one companion. 

Pre-race carts transport from the following locations to the nearest ticket admissions. 

Gate or to locations near souvenir locations and vendor displays:

  • ADA/Handicap Parking 
  • Ask Campground hosts for pick-up locations in campground 
  • Beside the main ticket office 
  • Post-race carts transport from the following signed, dedicated locations to Disabled Guests Parking lots: Turn 1 Gate, Turn 2 Gate, Turn 3 Gate, Turn 4 gate 

Please be advised that delays may occur during peak volume times immediately before or after the race.  Disabled guest transports will occur in the order of the Guests' arrival.  We thank you for your patience.  At peak periods it is requested that Guests restrict their use of the carts to the disabled Guest and one companion.  Should  a disabled guest become parked and need transportation from a location other than one of those listed above, a family member or companion is welcome to go to one of these locations and a cart will be dispatched to pick up the disabled Guest.  this service is FREE courtesy of Martinsville Speedway. 

​Guest Services 

​Martinsville Speedway welcomes its guests with disabilities and Martinsville Speedway provides numerous accessible features.  If you have any questions about the disabilities services or other fan amenities that the Speedway provides, please do not hesitate to ask a member of our staff or call our office at 276-956-7200, or 866-ISC-TRAK (472-8725) TDD Hearing Impaired. 

Accessible seating (with companion seating) is available in the South Terrace, South Annex and Bill France Tower. 

Accessible restrooms are available throughout the speedway. 

​Accessible Parking Information 

​An authorized state-issued sticker, placard or license plate is required to park in designated accessible area.  (the person to/for whom the pass was issued must be in the vehicle with photo ID.) 

All accessible spaces are assigned on a first-come, first-served bases. 

Guests with disabled placards should be aware of the following:

  • According to Virginia Law, unlawful use of a parking permit is a Class Two misdemeanor.  The law, in part, reads "Fraudulent use of a disability placard or license plate will result in up to six months in jail and a fine up to $1000. 
  • Refusal to cooperate with law enforcement officers implementing this program can result in removal from the property.
  • Guests CANNOT use a disabled parking permit unless the person to whom it is issued is the driver or a passenger in the vehicle.  Local and State Police Officers regularly perform checks to verify the person the permit is issued to is present in the vehicle.  Please bring necessary placards and identification. 

Guests with disabled placards must follow these rules:

  • The permit must be hung on the rear view mirror when the vehicle is parked in the disabled parking area.  The parking permit number must be displayed toward the front of the windshield when the vehicle is parked in the disabled parking area.
  • Both must display the issuing states' valid decals (month/year and driver's license number, etc.) 
  • Disabled license plates accompanied with a photo ID may be used in lieu of a parking permit.
  • The size of the Speedway crowds and the race day traffic patterns may impact your parking location.  All of the Speedway's parking areas are free of charge. 
  • In the absence of a visible placard, guest may be approached to determine accessibility.

The ADA lot is located int urn 2 and fills quickly.  Speedway guests with disabilities are advised to arrive early on race days.  We make every effort to provide convenient means for any disabled individual to receive assistance in getting to their seats.  The Speedway provides free transportation from our parking area via shuttles to the grandstand area.  Guest should expect delays during peak times.

For more information about the Speedway's disabilities services, contact a team member or call our ticket office at 276-956-7200.  We understand some guests have issues with stamina and are limited in the distance they can walk.  Since the Speedway covers several hundred acres and has plenty of activities to experience, we suggest that these guests bring a wheelchair or walker, if needed.

​Service Animals 

​The Martinsville Speedway recognizes the importance of service animals in assisting guests with visual and other impairments.  The animals are welcome on property but must remain leashed or harnessed at all times.  Guest must bring their own waste disposal bags.  Guests with service animals may request wheelchair seating to better accommodate the service animals comfort and safety.

Children's Admittance 

Youth ages 12 and under are admitted FREE on Friday in the unreserved grandstands when accompanied by a paying adult.

Youth ages 12 and under are admitted FREE on Saturdays for the truck trace in the unreserved grandstands and must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Youth ages 12 and under are $5.00 for the late model stock race in the unreserved grandstands and must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Everyone (regardless of age) must have a ticket to sit in the reserved grandstands on Sunday.  We do have Youth 12 and under and Teen 13-17 prices available in a select area. 

FREE child safety and identification wristbands ( with space to list the child's name, your pre-selected meeting location, the parent/guardians name and telephone number, medical and other key information) are available at the Main Ticket Office, Speedway Security Office, and at Raceway Ministry locations.

Event Ticket Insurance

Saturday, October 28 - Gates open at 9:00 am 

Sunday, October 29 - Gates open at 9:00 am 

Lost, Stolen Or Destroyed Tickets

Please contact our ticket office at 276-956-7200 as soon as possible so proper arrangements can be made.  Please take care of your tickets.  They are valuable possessions.  Tickets may not be valid unless purchased from Martinsville Speedway.

Print At Home 

Purchase your tickets and select "Print-At-Home" as your delivery option.  You can print your tickets immediately after you purchase them.  All you need is a printer, and your tickets can be in your hands today.  (Please note that at certain times of the year there may be a delay in the ability to print your tickets...Please check your account to see when files will be ready)

What are the benefits of printing my tickets on my computer?

You get your tickets right away.  No will-call lines or mail delivery to wait for.

You can print them at your convenience. 

You can forward them to others attending the event so they can print their own tickets.

Will this ticket be accepted for the event?

Yes.  This ticket that comes out of your printer is a valid, legitimate ticket.  Make sure you keep it in a safe place like you would cash and protect it just like you would any other ticket.  If any copies are made of the ticket,only the first scan of the barcode will be allowed entry.  If more than one copy were to arrive, the barcode will alert the attendant that the ticket has already been scanned. 

Re-Entry

On exiting the seating area a customer must receive a hand stamp from the gate guards.  This hand stamp and ticket stub are both required to gain admittance into the seating areas.

Ticket Scanning

With each cup weekend the goal is to scan all tickets.  All tickets will have a barcode located on the front of the ticket.  To make the ticket scanning process as efficient as possible, please make sure each person presents his/her ticket individually and please do not present multiple tickets to the gate attendant.  If you have a problem with your print at home ticket (i.e. it will not scan correctly or they have been misplaced), please visit our Main Ticket Office located behind the Richard Petty tower in the Administration Building.  For additional information, please contact our ticket office at 276-956-7200.

​Will Call 

​Will Call is available for tickets purchased from the Speedway and paid for in advance (but not received or shipped prior to race day).  The account holder will be required to show a photo ID in order to pick up his/her tickets.  Arrangements must be made in advance if account holder is unable to pick up their tickets.  A signature will be required to pick up all Will Call tickets.  Please bring proof of identification to pick up tickets.
