Martinsville Speedway to Give Grandfather Clock Trophy to One Lucky Ticket Holder
In celebration of 70 years, the winner of the STP 500 won’t be the only one leaving Martinsville Speedway with an iconic grandfather clock trophy. One lucky ticket holder will win one as well.
The 19th Annual Martinsville Speedway Christmas Toy Drive raised more than $10,000 and 300 toys for Grace Network.

Martinsville Speedway to Hold Christmas Toy Drive on December 10

Fans will once again have the opportunity to drive their personal cars around Martinsville Speedway while spreading Christmas cheer as the track will hold its 22nd Annual Christmas Toy Drive on Saturday, December 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Tickets are on sale for the STP 500.

Martinsville Speedway Already Planning Historic 2017

The calendar still says 2016, but 2017 is already shaping up to be one of historic proportions at Martinsville Speedway. Not only will the track be installing a state-of-the-art LED lighting system, it will also be celebrating its 70th anniversary.
Jimmie Johnson won the Goody's Fast Relief 500. It was his ninth career Martinsville win.

Adversity was no deterrent for Jimmie Johnson on Sunday afternoon at Martinsville Speedway. The six-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion won the Goody’s Fast Relief 500, despite a host of potentially Chase-damaging circumstances, to clinch a spot in the Championship 4 at Homestead-Miami Speedway next month. There, he will vie for his historic seventh title, which would place him in a tie with Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt for the most ever.
