Media Credential Guidelines For Martinsville Speedway
Credential requests are now being accepted for the Whelen 200/UNOH Performance 200 NASCAR Modified and K&N Pro Series weekend June 5-6, 2010.
Please follow the guidelines below when requesting credentials:
1. CREDENTIAL LETTER
A. All requests must be made on company letterhead and signed by the editor or staff person in charge of making the assignment. Requests must be postmarked by May 24. Requests must be made by letter. NO TELEPHONE, FAXED OR E-MAIL REQUESTS ACCEPTED.

B. We will not honor late requests. The May 24 deadline will be strictly enforced to ensure that everyone will receive a confirmation letter.
C. To receive a credential, the person must be an employee of the assigning media.
D. Please list each person by name when requesting credentials. We understand you may need to make staffing changes before the event and will work with you to make those changes.
Please specify your needs which may include any or all of the below:
1. Press Box - for deadline media only.
2. Infield Media Center - working media center for deadline media only.
3. Victory Lane (one per paper)
4. Parking
2. CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
A. Anyone receiving credentials must sign in to release Martinsville Speedway from any liability for personal injury or property damage suffered while on the speedway property.
B. No one under the age of 18 will be allowed in the pit area, and NASCAR does not allow shorts, open-toe shoes or sleeveless shirts to be worn in the pit area.
3. CREDENTIAL REGISTRATION
A. Sign-in and credential pickup will be at Martinsville Speedway’s Main Office from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday on Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. B. You must have your confirmation letter to pick-up credentials.
C. Photo identification is required.
D. No one except the person listed on the credential can use or sign for the credential.
