Martinsville Speedway Recognizes Billy Moore

The year was 1982. Michael Jackson’s album Thriller was released, E.T. was the box office smash, and Billy Moore came to Martinsville Speedway for his first day on the job. Thirty-three years later, the track’s maintenance facility has been renamed the “Billy Moore Maintenance Facility” in his honor.

Clint Bowyer is the Latest Addtion to Green Flag Experience

Martinsville Speedway’s Green Flag Experience just got even more entertaining with the addition of Clint Bowyer. Bowyer, often referred to as one of the funniest drivers in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, joins Jeff Gordon and Kurt Busch as drivers scheduled to take part in emceed question-and-answer sessions the morning of the Goody’s® Headache Relief Shot®500 on Nov. 1.

Kurt Busch is the second driver scheduled to take part in a moderated question-and-answer session prior to the Goody’s® Headache Relief Shot® 500 on Nov. 1 Martinsville Speedway President Clay Campbell announced today.

    Celebration 2015 to Feature 9-11 Memorial

    The annual Independence Day Celebration at Martinsville Speedway is full of rides, music and fireworks. However, Celebration 2015 will also have a place for remembrance. The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation will bring the 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit, a 53-foot long tractor-trailer that unfolds into a 1,100 square foot exhibit to serve as a reminder of that infamous day.
