Drivers will battle it out on the historic half-mile in the Long John Silver‘s 200
MARTINSVILLE, Va. (March 5, 2024) — Martinsville Speedway and Long John Silver‘s have extended their partnership for the 2024 spring NASCAR race weekend, with the popular fast-food chain returning to the historic short track.
The Long John Silver‘s 200 will be the first race of the triple-header weekend at Martinsville Speedway, with drivers in the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series taking to the track on Friday, April 5.
“Having a first-time partner return to Martinsville Speedway, especially one as notable as Long John Silver‘s, is a testament to how amazing our fans are and how special this place can be,” said Martinsville Speedway President Clay Campbell. “We‘re proud to have the Long John Silver‘s 200 back at Martinsville for our spring race weekend and we look forward to showing them a good time, with some incredible racing once again.”
Long John Silver‘s has a longstanding history, celebrating over 50 years of service. The seafood chain first started in Lexington, Kentucky, in 1969 and now spans across the entire country from sea to sea, including a location right down the road in Martinsville, Va.

The Long John Silver‘s 200 kicks off a weekend of racing at Martinsville Speedway, as drivers from the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series prepare for battle around the famed short track on Friday, April 5.
The excitement continues Saturday, April 6 with the NASCAR Xfinity Series race, followed by Sunday‘s Cook Out 400 featuring a special celebration for Hendrick Motorsport‘s 40th anniversary.
